Join us for a free community wellness chat featuring Altheda Health Founder, Kristen Brown and special guest Brooke Erickson. They’ll discuss the flood of science confirming the relationship of “gut microbiome” and diet with overall health.
- Symptom relief with therapeutic foods – including tips for what to feature in your diet and what to avoid
- Exploring the connection between gut health and your immune system
- Healing the gut – getting to the root cause and experiencing optimal wellness
Brooke Erickson, MS, CN is a Functional Nutritionist and founder of NourishThrive. Her passion is to help people achieve optimal wellness and to feel their absolute best! She believes in using food as medicine and looks at the body as a system focusing on the underlying root cause of imbalances in the body that can have a systemic impact rather than simply addressing individual symptoms or health concerns. Brooke received her B.S. in Nutrition from Bastyr University and a master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from University of Western States.
Kristen Brown ARNP-C, MSN is a Certified Functional Nurse Practitioner with years of clinical experience in urgent care, women’s health, family medicine, and functional medicine. Kristen founded Altheda Health to treat chronic, complex medical problems using Functional Medicine – a “systems based” approach to Western Medicine that combines your detailed health history, guided nutrition, state-of-the-art lab testing, and science-proven methods to help you thrive, not just survive.
This free public event is hosted by Altheda Health as a community service and part of our regular Wellness Chat speaker series.
